New Bremen High School has a strong tradition of excellence from its bands.  The Cardinal Marching Band is a competitive marching band, and is active in Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Marching Band Events.  They also perform at all New Bremen High School varsity football games, and various parades in the area.  The Symphonic Band performs various concerts throughout the year, as well as at graduation, Memorial Day, and at OMEA Large Group Adjudicated Events.  The Pep-Band performs at all New Bremen High School home varisty basketball games. 

The bands are all under the direction of Ryan M. Yahl.  Since becoming director of bands in the fall of 2009, the Cardinal Marching Band and Symphonic Band have both made appearances at OMEA State Adjudicated Events.
